This beautiful window cling depicts 'Mr Gilhooley', one of eight panels of the Geneva Window. In, 1926, the Irish Free State commissioned Harry Clarke to create a large stained glass window as a gift to The League of Nations to be installed in the International Labor Building in Geneva. The finished window consisted of eight panels celebrating Ireland as a free state through the lens of Irish literature. However, the window didn't make it to Geneva, as the Irish State deemed it inappropriate. The window's final destination is the Wolfsonian Gallery in Miami Beach. The first firing of 'Mr Gilhooley' broke from the main window and now sits proudly in the Hugh Lane Gallery.
